Harlem Sprouts: Grow Together

Our early childhood separation program, for ages 2–4, is your child’s first opportunity to independently participate in creating community.
About Harlem Sprouts:

  • Experienced teachers guide your family through a healthy, gentle separation process by establishing a safe and nurturing classroom experience. They also provide targeted instruction based on your child’s learning style and individual interests.
  • Each classroom builds a well-developed community identity, featuring curated work stations, facilitated transitions, community meetings, small-group work, and engaging provocations.
  • Harlem Sprouts uses an intentionally mixed-age model, with a focus on play-based learning that encourages exploration, curiosity, and self-discovery, and sets the stage for children to observe, connect, and learn from each other at varying developmental stages.
  • A healthy, kosher, dairy, nut-free snack and water are provided each day.

Please note that additional forms will be required before the start of the program (medical information, family contracts, COVID disclosures, etc.).
